Young Lives vs Cancer Social Work Team, Southampton

What

Team of specialist social workers at Southampton Hospital, supporting children and young people affected by and living with cancer and their families. Services include access to financial support, emotional and practical support to help find accommodation close to hospital with Jean's House, financial grants, benefits information and bereavement support.

Southampton General Hospital – Piam Brown Ward and Teenage and Young Adult Ward

Who

Children and young adults (up to the age of 25) with cancer and their parents and carers. Referrals are made through the Multi-Disciplinary Team on the Piam Brown and Teenage & Young Adult Wards at Southampton Hospital, as well as from other hospitals treating under-25s with cancer
