Defence Medical Welfare Service (DMWS)

What

Charity that provides medical welfare support to those who are serving or who have served on the frontline. Services include support for issues such as stress, anxiety, loneliness, and PTSD. It also helps with accessing financial, housing, and employment support. Its helpline is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. See website for more information.

DMWS support all members of the Armed Forces Community across the services, including serving personnel, reservists, veterans, and their family members/carers. This includes The Merchant Navy.
