Cancer Fund for Children – support for children and young people affected by cancer

What

Charity offering support to children and young people affected by cancer. It provides help, guidance and support through therapeutic short breaks, emotional support, bereavement support, as well as health and wellbeing days. Support can be provided in their home, in the community, on the hospital ward and at Daisy Lodge, its purpose-built therapeutic centre. People need to be referred to the charity by healthcare professionals involved in the child’s nursing or medical care. See website for more information.
